Gardening in South Wales for over 30 years, she has a knowledge of plants and design ideas to make gardening easy and enjoyable for every age and ability.
Known for her infectious enthusiasm, Sue shares some of her ideas and experiences on the BBC2’s Gardeners’ World and at gardening clubs and shows across the UK.
Her talks are engaging, interesting, fun and informative. Sue approaches life from an angle new to many of us, and she overcomes challenges in her own inimitable style.
Connecting with the audience through her zest for life, Sue helps her audience to gain a greater understanding of how they can unlock their own abilities through thoughtful garden design, new ways to do things, and the best plant choices while protecting environmental resources and wildlife.
Her first book Garden Notes was published in 2023 – she describes it as “the book I always wanted to find”, full of helpful hints and tips of practical use for busy gardeners, along with supplier lists and planting times.
